1. Acceptance of these Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Soul Spring, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the App on behalf of another person (for example, a family member), you represent that you have authority to do so.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Soul Spring. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. You may not use the App where doing so is prohibited by law.

3. The service

Soul Spring is an AI-powered spiritual companion that draws on themes from world spiritual traditions to support personal reflection, journaling, and contemplative practice. Conversations with the in-app companion are generated by AI models operated by Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic, accessed server-side via our backend. (Corrected from "Google's Gemini, accessed via Firebase AI / Vertex AI" — Firebase AI was retired and chat is now multi-vendor; see Privacy Policy §5.)

The App also includes self-directed features that involve no AI: a practice rhythm that reflects the dates on which you practiced, and goals that you write, edit, and track yourself. You own your goals. The App does not decide whether you have made progress, does not change a goal's status on its own, and will not create, edit, or archive a goal without your action. Where the companion offers structure or a suggested plan, it is a proposal you may edit or discard.

4. Important disclaimer — please read

Soul Spring is intended for personal reflection only. It is not a substitute for professional advice or care of any kind. Specifically:

• Soul Spring is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Soul Spring is not a mental-health service. It is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, psychiatric care, or crisis intervention. The companion cannot recognize emergencies.
• Soul Spring does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice.
• Soul Spring is not a substitute for ordained clergy or qualified religious counsel.
• Goals, plans, and practice suggestions are for personal reflection, not a treatment plan, and are not supervised by any professional. You decide what to attempt and at what pace. Do not use the App to plan changes to medication, eating, sleep, or medical care, and do not follow any suggestion that involves closing your eyes or withdrawing attention while driving, cycling, or operating machinery.

The companion's responses are generated by an AI language model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. If you are in crisis or experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately, or in the United States call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

5. Your account

When you first launch Soul Spring, the App creates an anonymous identity for you through Firebase Authentication. You do not need to provide any personal information to use the App as a guest. You may sign in with Google, Apple, or email and password— for example, to subscribe to Soul Spring Plus or to sync your data across devices. (Corrected from "in the future, you may have the option to link an email or Google account" — sign-in is shipped; email magic-link was removed, but email/password — a distinct method — shipped 2026-06-24.) If you sign in, you are responsible for your account and for activity under it.

You may use only one account at a time, and you may not impersonate another person, share your account, or transfer it without our consent.

6. Subscription — Soul Spring Plus

6.1 Plan and price

Soul Spring offers a paid subscription called Soul Spring Plus, offered as a single plan:

• Monthly: USD $5.99 / month, with a 7-day free trial for subscribers who have not previously used a trial for this subscription.

We do not currently offer an annual plan. If we add one, it will be presented in the App with its own price and terms before you purchase.

The $5.99 figure is the United States price. In other countries and currencies the price is set to the local equivalent Apple / Google offers and may be higher or lower. The price shown in the App at the time of purchase always governs.

Existing subscribers and this price change. Soul Spring Plus was previously offered at $3.99/month. That price was raised to $5.99/month on the same subscription product rather than by creating a separate one. Apple and Google — not Saar Inc. — control whether and how a price change reaches someone who is already subscribed: a store may keep an existing subscriber at the price they originally agreed to, or apply the new price at a future renewal. Depending on the store, your country, and the size of the increase, the store will either notify you in advance and apply the new price at your next renewal, or ask you to agree to the new price first. If the store asks for your agreement and you do not give it, your subscription simply ends at the end of your current paid period rather than renewing — you are never charged the higher price without the store's required notice or consent. You can review or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play settings (§6.4).

The subscription unlocks unlimited messages with the companion, unlimited stored sessions, all traditions, premium voice, removal of advertisements, and other premium features described in the App. Prices, features, and free-tier limits may change with reasonable notice.

6.2 Billing

Soul Spring Plus is sold and billed by Apple (on iOS, through your Apple ID) or by Google Play (on Android, through your Google account). Saar Inc. does not directly process or store your payment information. RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider, processes the receipt to verify your entitlement.

6.3 Auto-renewal

Soul Spring Plus is an auto-renewing subscription. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Apple or Google will charge your payment method shortly before each renewal.

Free trial: if you are eligible for and start the 7-day free trial, you will not be charged during the trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid monthly subscription at $5.99 / month and your payment method is charged. You can cancel anytime during the trial in your App Store / Google Play settings. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple or Google, not by us; if you have already used a trial for this subscription, your purchase begins as a paid subscription immediately and the App will say so before you buy.

6.4 Cancellation

You can cancel auto-renewal at any time:

• iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Soul Spring → Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Soul Spring → Cancel.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You retain access to Soul Spring Plus features until that date.

6.5 Refunds

Refunds for Soul Spring Plus are governed by Apple's and Google's policies. Saar Inc. cannot directly issue refunds for store purchases. To request a refund, contact Apple (https://reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637).

6.6 Free tier

Soul Spring is free to download and use within the limits of the free tier (currently: 30 guide messages per day, 7 retained chat sessions, and up to 5 preferred traditions). These limits may change with reasonable notice.

7. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not, and will not permit anyone else to:

• use Soul Spring for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
• harass, threaten, defame, or harm any other person;
• submit content that infringes another person's intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights;
• submit personal information about a third party without their consent;
• attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or extract the underlying AI model, prompts, or any non-public component of the App;
• use the App to provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice to others;
• attempt to circumvent free-tier limits, subscription gates, or other technical measures;
• introduce viruses, malware, or otherwise interfere with the App's operation or security.

We may suspend or terminate access to Soul Spring for violations of this section.

8. Your content

8.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to the chat messages, journal entries, and other content you create in Soul Spring ("Your Content"). The App stores Your Content on your device and, in the case of chat messages (and, for premium voice, recorded audio; and, for premium sticky-note enrichment, the note text ), transmits it to our AI and voice service providers (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic; and for voice, Deepgram + ElevenLabs) for processing so the guide can respond. See Privacy Policy §3 + §5 for the per-task provider map.

8.2 License to operate the service

You grant Saar Inc. a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process Your Content only as needed to provide the App to you — for example, to display it on your device, to send it to the AI service to generate a reply, and to back up your subscription state to the cloud.

8.3 No training use

We do not use Your Content to train AI models. Under our agreements with our AI providers (Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, Anthropic) and voice providers (Deepgram, ElevenLabs), those providers also do not use your prompts, the guide's responses, or your voice audio/text to train their foundation models.

8.4 Sharing Your Content yourself

Soul Spring can build a shareable image card from material you select and hand it to your device's own share sheet (Privacy Policy §3.8). If you do that:

• You are the one publishing it. You choose the material, review the card, and choose the destination. We do not post on your behalf and have no integration with any social network.
• You grant us nothing extra. Creating or sharing a card gives Saar Inc. no license beyond §8.2, and we do not receive or store the image.
• We cannot take it back. Once a card reaches another app or another person, retrieval, deletion, and further redistribution are outside our control. Share only what you are willing to make public.
• Share your own material only. Do not share cards in a way that misrepresents their origin, strips the authorship label that identifies AI-generated text, or violates §7.
• Sharing availability depends on your age and on our safety checks, and some material is not shareable at all.

9. Intellectual property

The Soul Spring name, logo, designs, source code, and the Luma companion persona are owned by Saar Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you control for your own personal, non-commercial reflection and growth.

AI-generated responses produced through your use of Soul Spring are provided to you for your personal, non-commercial use. Because they are generated by an AI model, similar or identical responses may be produced for other users.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the App or any non-user-generated content within it, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by applicable law.

10. Third-party services

Soul Spring relies on third-party services, including (without limitation): Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Vertex AI, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Mobile Ads, Sign in with Google), OpenAI and Anthropic (chat + journal AI generation), Deepgram and ElevenLabs (premium voice), and Perplexity (premium web research), RevenueCat, Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store), and Google Play. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. Saar Inc. is not responsible for the operation, content, or privacy practices of those services.

This also applies to any app you choose from your device's share sheet (§8.4). We have no relationship with it, receive nothing from it, and are not responsible for what it does with a card you send.

11. Termination

You may stop using Soul Spring at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Cancelling your subscription is described in Section 6.4.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Soul Spring (or any feature of it) at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. We will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable.

Sections 4, 8.2, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 survive termination.

12. Disclaimers

Soul Spring is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saar Inc. disclaims all warranties, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Guru's responses will be accurate, helpful, complete, or appropriate for your situation.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law:

• Saar Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of Soul Spring, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
• Saar Inc.'s total cumulative liability for any and all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Soul Spring is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Saar Inc. (through Apple or Google) for Soul Spring Plus in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) US$50.00.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Saar Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with (a) your use or misuse of Soul Spring, (b) Your Content, or (c) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

You and Saar Inc. agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or to Soul Spring will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "Last Updated" date at the top, and for material changes we will display an in-app notice the next time you open Soul Spring. Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.

17. Miscellaneous

• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Saar Inc. regarding Soul Spring and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject matter.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and have no legal effect.
